Massive is an agent-based tool used to animate the behavior of crowds in films. Each ‘actor’ in the crowd, swarm, or seething mass operates according to a variety of different parameters, such as degree of panic, shock, weariness, or bravado. The demo reel in the bottom right is worth a looksee, though with a pricetag for a single license clocking in at just under $10,000, I’ll be waiting for the educational version to hit IU.
Thanks for the link, Sam!
